a new toy

christmas came a little early for me this year. my husband bought me a cricut.  that's the good news. the bad news is that it has to count for not only christmas, but my birthday, too, which is quite a few months away.  i am hopeful he will forget those terms til my birthday rolls around, altho, being the awesome "friendly budget reminder" person that he is, it is highly unlikely he will forget.  i used it to make this postcard tho and am quite happy with what i was able to do with it so far.

  3. I think you're doing great bargaining strategically. I think I've used up my Christmases and birthdays for the next 10 or more years, so you're doing really good!

My mom-in-law has a cricut that just sits here and collects dust. I haven't figured out how to use it well yet, but one of these days I'm going to get it out and give it a good go. I'm sure you'll spark some inspiration and motivation to use it. This postcard is a real treat as your work always is!
